Spur hat kit
A kit for Hiromi Nagasawa's Spur beanie. Spur is knitted with fingering weight yarn in a series of stretchy ribs. Folded brim and brioche pattern make this hat remarkably thick and warm but light in weight. The pattern is NOT included in this kit and must be downloaded from the designer's Ravelry page, where it is available in English and Japanese.

The kit includes:
- one skein of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100g, 385 m) in the chosen shade.
- one Mondim drawstring bag

- Choose color

*Note: Samples B and C from photo 2 were knitted in Mondim 302 and Mondim 110, respectively. As these are discontinued shades, Retrosaria suggests similar shades from the latest batch as substitutes.
Suggested needles (not included): US 2.5 | 3 mm 16” | 40 cm circular needles and DPNs, or size to obtain gauge. For tubular cast on: US 2 | 2.75 mm 16” | 40 cm circular needles, or one size smaller needles than the needles used for the ribbing.
Gauge: Brioche pattern on US 2.5 | 3 mm needles after blocking: 27 sts rnd and 48 rows = 4” / 10 cm. 2×2 rib pattern on US 2.5 | 3 mm needles after blocking: 27 sts and 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm.
